At the beginning of March, Terra brought a distinctive corporate dinner experience to Vienna, transforming the historic Sofiensäle into the setting of an immersive gala inspired by the world of Franz Joseph and Sisi.

From the earliest stages of preparation, the event was conceived as more than a dinner. Our team arrived the day before to begin transforming the venue. Tables were meticulously laid, the space was styled in detail, and the final technical and artistic rehearsals set the tone for the evening ahead. Every element was designed to create an atmosphere that felt elegant, seamless, and transportive.

Guests were welcomed into the evening with signature cocktails, period inspired styling, and a carefully arranged entrance experience that immediately set the tone. The arrival was followed by a standing reception with a refined canapé selection, including broccoli floret with avocado jalapeño sauce and crispy amaranth, raspberry macaron with beetroot, shrimp lollypop with mango passionfruit coating, and venison fillet with Serrano ham and raspberry dressing.

Dinner then unfolded alongside a live performance program created to feel fully integrated into the atmosphere of the night. A live orchestra in costume provided the musical setting, while dancers, opera singers, and the imperial couple appeared throughout the evening, turning the dinner into a shared theatrical experience rather than a sequence of separate performances. One of the most memorable moments came when guests were invited to learn the first steps of the Viennese waltz and join the story themselves.

The artistic program was created together with our partner, Good Vibe Show Company, whose performers helped bring the concept to life with elegance, warmth, and a strong sense of occasion.

The culinary experience was designed to match the richness of the setting. Following the welcome reception, guests enjoyed a four course dinner with a thoughtfully selected beverage program. The menu included beluga lentils with asparagus and coconut foam, salmon mosaic with mango salsa, slow cooked beef cheek with vadas inspired elements, and a striking dessert to close the evening. Vegan options were given the same care and attention, ensuring a complete experience for every guest.

For us, this event was a powerful example of what Terra does best: turning a client’s idea into a complete and immersive world. This was not simply an event with a beautiful theme, but a custom built experience with its own emotional rhythm, visual identity, and guest interaction. From concept development and production to hospitality and performance integration, every layer was designed with one clear purpose: to create something original and unforgettable.
