A Venue with Character and Cultural Layers

The event took place at Szőke Gábor Miklós Studio, located within the historic Csepel Works industrial complex. Known for its raw architectural character and monumental spaces, the venue offered a striking backdrop for the evening. Experience by Terra has realized numerous events at this location before, and once again the studio proved to be an ideal setting for an immersive brand experience.

The decoration subtly reflected Chery’s Chinese heritage. Red lanterns, flowing textiles and warm lighting evoked traditional Chinese symbolism, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. These elements blended seamlessly with the industrial architecture, creating a space that felt theatrical, elegant and culturally grounded.

A Graceful Arrival

Guests were welcomed by two elegantly dressed hostesses, adorned with floral creations that echoed the visual identity of the evening. Offering chilled champagne upon arrival, they set the tone for the night: celebratory, refined and visually captivating. This first encounter marked the transition from everyday reality into a carefully constructed experience.

At the heart of the venue stood a beautifully illuminated bar that quickly became one of the evening’s central meeting points. Here, guests could enjoy a selection of signature cocktails inspired by the Chery TIGGO model range, each drink reflecting a distinct character and flavor profile.

The cocktail menu included:

  • Tiggo 4 Cosmopolitan: made with vodka, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and cranberry
  • Tiggo 7 Paloma: combining tequila blanco, fresh lime juice and grapefruit soda
  • Tiggo 8 Negroni: a classic blend of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth
  • Tiggo 9 Kentucky Mule: featuring bourbon whiskey, fresh lime juice and ginger beer

For those opting for a non-alcoholic option, the Chery Party Blueberry Smash offered a refreshing combination of alcohol-free rum, blueberry cordial and lemon juice.

The bar was not merely a service point but an essential part of the experience, encouraging conversation, movement and connection throughout the evening.

A Refined Culinary Journey

Gastronomy played an essential role in shaping the night. Throughout the event, Terra’s refined canapé selections were served alongside a thoughtfully designed Flying Buffet concept, allowing guests to enjoy high-quality cuisine without interrupting the flow of the program.

The Flying Buffet concept is built around movement and interaction. Dishes are presented directly to guests, encouraging spontaneity and discovery while maintaining an elevated culinary standard. It complemented the dynamic rhythm of the evening perfectly.

The canapé selection featured sous-vide broccoli floret with avocado jalapeno coating and crispy amaranth, truffle macaron with crème fraîche and sturgeon caviar, duck liver terrine paired with green apple macaron and Tokaji Aszú jelly, as well as octopus lollipop glazed in Asian sauce.

The Flying Buffet continued with beetroot variations served with goat cheese mousse and walnut crumble, salmon gravlax with avocado jalapeno dressing and caviar, velvety mushroom cream soup infused with black truffle, and a 24-hour sous-vide beef cheek accompanied by truffled mashed potatoes.

Desserts provided a refined conclusion, from the rich Barangoló with dark chocolate mousse and layered textures, to a light and refreshing mango and passion fruit mousse with a cocoa base.

Performances and the Grand Reveal

As the evening progressed, attention gradually shifted toward the stage. Brand ambassador András Stohl shared personal insights into the Chery brand, its values and long-term vision, creating an authentic connection with the audience.

This was followed by a live performance from Hungarian singer Nika, whose voice added emotional depth to the night. The finale arrived with a visually striking aerial performance. As the artists moved above the crowd in perfect synchronization with light and music, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally arrived.

The curtain lifted to reveal the Chery TIGGO 9, the brand’s new family flagship model. Confident, powerful and elegant, the car appeared not simply as a product, but as the natural culmination of the story carefully built throughout the evening.
